FINAL PROJECT

For the final project, this is a group work. We need to research and condense the script and develop a suitable visual narrative to deliver an awareness motion graphic video about the topic Sex Education 101. We need to choose between "Your body" and "Family planning". 

Our team, group 5 chose "Your body" as our theme. Then, we create a miroboard for better discussion, our miroboard includes storyboards, characters, art direction, and colour scheme.

We wanted our characters to be more different and special, so all of our characters have big eyes. We chose Snow White, prince, dwarfs, and witch as our main characters because everyone knows Snow White's story, so we thought that it will be interesting if we have a character like this for the video.

We wanted to have retro colours and pop colours to make it looks retro. So we used bright colours like the colour scheme below.

We have 7 members in our group, and we never met in real life but we had the same thoughts for this project, so our discussion is normally high efficiency and smooth. And even though we haven't met each other yet, we can still talk a lot like old friends online. Its fun to work with them and our team leader did contribute the most to this project and she distribute the work to us well. Love you guys!

REFLECTION

It was a very long process of making this motion graphic video, and I thought it will be very hard but it's okay when it is divided into small sections and each of us was going to be in charge of small sections. I like our group's vibes and we worked well together as a group, everyone was doing the job that they are good at, like some of us in charge of illustrations, and some of us in charge of animating it. I think that we did a great job at unifying our styles and colour scheme, even though we did different parts separately, but when it comes together as a video, it doesn't look weird and it looks smooth.
