Korean 1 // Study Plan

Hello! I'm Cheryl Voo Yie Qi (0349878), studying Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Creative Media. I'm interested in the Korean language and chose Korean as one of my free electives because I love watching Running Man since I was little. I enjoy watching Running Man even though I don't fully understand them and rely on the subtitles. I also learned to speak some phrases by watching Running Man these years but not really know how to write and pronounce them properly. So I hope I can learn the Korean language properly and be able to read and understand the original Korean subtitles while watching Running Man and listening to K-pop songs as well after learning Korean.

In order to achieve this goal, my weekly schedule is very important throughout the whole learning process. Since there are lectures and tutorial classes every week, I planned to watch the lecture videos after the lecture class, and if possible, do tests or exercises on the same day. Another option is to do the quiz and exercises after the tutorial class if I can't finish them on the same day as the lecture class, so I gave myself a limit to finish them in 2 days every week. In addition, since I will be watching Running Man every week, I could try to read the subtitles while watching them in order to improve my reading skills.

Lastly, I will try my best to follow the timeline I planned in order to improve my Korean language through these 14 weeks.
