INSTRUCTIONS
Week 1
Malaysia Independence Day
Week 2
Dr. Charles brief us about the module and let us
form into groups for our project. And we have to come up with ideas for our
group project to show Dr. Charles next week.
Week 3
Dr. Charles shows us different kinds of games and
we showed Dr. Charles our idea on the miro board. We revised our idea based
on Dr. Charles's feedback.
Our ideas:
Week 4
I recorded my personal game history video this week, and
our idea's story is too normal, need to add more twists to enrich the
story.

Week 5
We need to draw out the map physically on a piece
of paper and some characters to play our story out next week.
Our draft:
Week 6 - Week 10
From week 7 we will be self-directed but we
still have to update our progress to Dr. Charles and get
feedback.
So our storyline has several versions:
Week 11
We changed the storyline again as we are not satisfied with the story we had. After confirming the storyline and the dialogue, we drew the clues out for
the clues in the game.
Week 12 - Week 13
During these 2 weeks, we spent
time revising some details and adding more clues to the game.
Week 14
We found some background music for the game and
designed the title screen for the game:

FEEDBACK
- Have to work on the storyline and dialogue, and add some plot twists to the story to make it more interesting.
- Use our imagination to make the story more interesting ( can make it a fantasy story having aliens in the story)
-
Make the reason stronger (why the girl will choose a soda can ring
instead of a diamond necklace), if not the players will not understand the
story.
- The storyline is good, can add some captions to other objects, so when the players interact with it will not be boring. Can add guidelines to some objects as some of our clues requires players to interact 3 times, can add guidelines like "always check the clues thrice" to guide players through the game.
REFLECTIONS
At first, I was very excited about this module. Although I'm not really a gamer, I do play some games. But the course began, and we started to design our group's own game. I felt very difficult because there were many things we need to consider.
When other groups have finished half, we are still changing our storyline several times. Because we are not satisfied with what we had, our progress was a little behind. But luckily our teammates are all willing to distribute in this group project. But there are still times when we are all busy and stressed with the deadlines of other modules and we had to catch up on this project schedule.
Even though our final outcome still has some flaws, but I'm proud of our group as we spend lots of time on it, from the start to the end of the project.
